*Hometown Holiday Celebration. Market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Twilight Parade begins at 5:15 p.m. with numerous floats, fire trucks, horses, Boy and Girl Scout troops, trucks, trailers and walking groups. The Grand Finale is Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving. Santa Claus will be receiving visitors on Broadway in Thomas Centennial Park from 6 to 7 p.m.

*4th Street Theater will be presenting Grant Fitch’s One-Man Christmas Carol at 7 p.m. at 4th Street Theater, 125 N. 4th Street. Adults $10, children under 18, $5. Cash or check at the box office, no credit cards. Call for reservations 219-926- 7875.

*Need a laugh? Attend the comedy show at the Moose Lodge with featured act Dan Brennan and headliner Bob Philips. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. $20.

*Mistletoe Market, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chesterton’s European Market is dressing up for the holidays. Come on out to shop for gifts at the market and enjoy free carriage rides and Santa visits from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

*Back by popular demand: Chesterton United Methodist, 434 2nd St., is conducting our 30th annual Cookie Walk from 9 a.m. until the cookies and candies are gone. Prepackaged cookies and candies are priced at $10 per pound. All proceeds benefit local charities. The Holiday Tea Shoppe will be open, and the Guitar Choir will provide music for your enjoyment.
