Irene Manning service set for Tuesday

Irene Manning, age 77 of Valparaiso, Ind. passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Whispering Pines Health Care Center in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Irene was born on January 23, 1935 in Griffith, Ind., to Ernie and Beulah (Stanford) Neyhart.

She married John H. Manning in Crown Point, Ind. on January 10, 1959.

She is survived by sons, Bruce Neyhart of Portage, Ind., Belden (Tonya) Manning of Florida, Christopher Manning of Miller, Ind.; daughters, Beatrice (Karl) Sutton of Valparaiso, Brenda (Willie) Cuellar of Portage, Belinda (Rod) Beres of LaPorte, Ind. and Amanda (Brian) Clowers of Portage; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren, nine brothers and sisters and her beloved dog Joanie.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband John and four brothers and sisters.

Irene was a homemaker and member of the Chesterton Women of the Moose Lodge.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind., with Rev. James Mueller officiating.

Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart, Ind.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
