Steven Michael Wroblewski dies at age 21

Steven Michael Wroblewski, 21, of Chesterton, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011.

He was born December 17, 1989 in Valparaiso to Barry and Kathy (Waddelow) Wroblewski.

He attended Chesterton High School, received his GED from Portage Adult Education Center and served with the U.S. Army. Steven was previously a server with Denny’s Restaurant in Lake Station.

Survivors include his father, Barry (Alicia) Wroblewski of Chesterton, mother, Kathy Wroblewski of Chesterton, grandparents; Joan Waddelow of Merrillville, Melvin and Dolores Wroblewski of Romeoville, Ill., sister, Shannon (Joseph) Carrasco of Portage, brother, Bryan Wroblewski of Chesterton. Also, step-sisters: Ashley (Omar) Vargas of Colorado, Alison Larimore of Chesterton, step-brother, Nolan (Lacey) Laughlin of Hawaii, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Wroblewski; grandfather Charles Waddelow and great grandparents, Donald and Kathleen Pemble.

Following cremation a memorial visitation will be held Thursday from 2 – 7 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso with a memorial service to follow beginning at 7:00 p.m.
