Services set for Justin Heredia

Chesterton resident Justin A. Heredia, 27, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at LaPorte Hospital.

He was born Sept. 26, 1982, in Munster. On Aug. 29, 2008, he married Jamie (Tigner) Heredia, who survives in Chesterton.

He is also survived by his children, Karalena and Jack Heredia, both at home; his mother, Jovita “Jay” Salinas (friend Matt Beckman) of Porter; his biological father, Milton E. (Janice) King of West Liberty, Ky.; his father, Arthur Heredia of Boston, Mass.; brothers, Austin James Heredia of Chicago and Kenny (Kelly) Thomas and David (Sharonica) Thomas, both of West Liberty; and aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Justin was a craneman and a union steward at LaSalle Steel Company. He was a lover of music who sang and wrote songs, he enjoyed fishing, and he was a loving husband, father, son, nephew, and friend to all.

A celebration of Justin’s life, Father Andrew Corona officiating, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. Second St. in Chesterton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service.

Memorials may be made to his children to be used in a college fund.
