Mary Ann Farrell dies at 92

Mary Ann Farrell, of Chesterton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 at The Waters of Duneland, Chesterton. She was 92.

She was born June 27, 1915 in Chicago, the daughter of Joseph and Bridget (Daley) Farrell, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a brother, Daniel (Barb) Farrell of Minneapolis, Minn.; nieces and nephews, Robert (Devota) Dubach, of Chesterton, Ellen Jane Saks, of Jerusalem, Daniel (Kate) Dubach, of Eugene Ore., James (Lesley) Dubach, of Indianapolis, Mary Anne Dubach (Farris Smith) of Chicago and Kathleen (Kenneth) Orgel, of Porter. Many great nieces and nephews also survive. Mary Ann was a member of 3rd order of Dominicans, her greatest interests were Religion and Politics. She was employed by the Defense Department as a secretary to the Army/Navy.

A Mass of Christian Burial, Fr. James Meade officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Ill.

The family will receive friends Monday from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St. Chesterton.
