Jeremy Seth Hoffman dies at 33

Jeremy Seth Hoffman, passed away, Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007. He was 33.

He was born Jan. 9, 1974 in Valparaiso, the son of Ronald and Christy (Belstra) Hoffman of Hebron who survive.

He was a loving husband to his wife of seven years, Sarah Rebecka (Rosenberg) and a great and loving father to his boys, Jae, Brett and Nathan.

He is also survived by parent-in-law Judy Rearick of Hobart; grandparents, Marty and Edna Hoffman of Hebron and Rita Belstra of DeMotte; grandmother-in-law, Nela Jacobson of New York; a sister, Shayne (Ryan) Donovan of Hebron; a brother, Aaron (Katie) Hoffman of Hebron; sisters-in-law, Michele (P.C.) Drouin of Fort Wayne and Lauren Rearick of Hobart; brothers-in-law, Karl Wehle of Hobart, Shaun (Amber) Wehle of DeMotte and Christopher Rearick of Hobart.

He is also survived by nieces and nephew, Heaven, Ewan, Myah and Abby; a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins, many of whom reside in the Duneland area.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Eugene Belstra.

Jeremy graduated from Lowell Baptist High School in 1992. He then graduated from Lincoln Technical School. He was a master auto mechanic at Dimension Ford of Fort Wayne specializing in diesel tech and has earned many rewards as a mechanic. When he was available, he helped out on the family farm. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Lowell.

Funeral services, Pastor David Hoffman officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24 at First Baptist Church, 333 Mill St. Lowell. Interment will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Geisen Funeral Home, 641 N. Main St., Hebron.

The family prefers memorials for an Education Fund being established for his children.
