Jacqueline Ruge Perkins named President and CEO of Porter Bank

Porter Bank’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jacqueline (Jackie) Ruge-Perkins as it’s new President / Chief Executive Officer. The Board and Ruge Family’s decision will empower Ruge-Perkins to keep Porter Bank a strong, independent, community bank.

“Jackie’s education, intellectual capacity, and more than 32 years of experience and dedication to Porter Bank make her the right person to lead the bank into many more successful years. We are proud to be the only true community bank in Porter County.” said James Ruge, Chairman of the Board at Porter Bank.

Jackie’s ethic, quality of work and many accomplishments at the bank made the decision clear for the Board. She has led the bank through many successful examinations and audits; spearheaded the banks re-branding “Friendly Banking Built on Trust” and was integral in the modernization of the Porter Office. “I am excited to continue to achieve the bank’s strategic goals in 2019 and beyond through the support of the stockholders, board, staff, and loyal customers.” stated Ruge-Perkins. She is joined by an experienced, exceptional team: Leonard Miller -- Chief Financial Officer; Jeffrey Spencer -- Chief Lending Officer; Lisa Kizer -- Chief Operations Officer; Carol Gee -- Chief Compliance Officer; Business Development Officers Sheri Zimmer and Christy Adney; and the entire staff at Porter Bank. James Ruge will remain as Chairman of the Board offering his wisdom and experience to Bank Management and the various Committees that he will participate on. He will remain visible and accessible to the staff and customers in his office in Porter.
