Our Indiana Senate recently passed Senate Bill 335 by a majority vote, but now there is some doubt that it will get past House Speaker Pat Bauer and other Democrats in the House. Although it is against our laws to hire illegal immigrants and despite Hoosiers overwhelming support for strong action, many House representatives don't want to resolve this outrageous invasion.

The biggest problem with the bill is that it addresses our illegal immigration problem head on by confronting dishonest employers, and many of our representatives realize that this bill would be effective in curbing the illegal flow and are now in panic mode scrambling for excuses to thwart making law.

Hoosiers are naive if they haven't concluded that this illegal problem flourishes in Indiana because our state government actually wants it to.

The only solution to resolving the flow of illegal immigrants in Indiana is to vote out lawmakers who are working against a Hoosier majority who want hiring accountability from our employers. This is an election year, and our representatives should know we are watching how they vote on this bill.

Please contact your Indiana Representative and stress your strong support for Bill 335 and request you want them to vote yes for its passage.
