the town of Burns Harbor to increase signalization at the intersection of

The Council unanimously approved a building permit for the Shirley and Joel
Hull property at 12 West Road, which was previously approved by the Plan
Commission.

been installed and the rink is filled and ready.
The Council agreed the regular meeting time will continue to be the third
Tuesday of each month, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall, 1 East Rd.
Council members also unanimously approved a new contract with McDaniels Fire
Systems for inspection of the dry sprinkler system at the town Clubhouse.
Bolton also reported he is working with NIPSCO to install an additional
transformer at the clubhouse to facilitate three-phase electricity. He will
have more detailed information at next month’s meeting
Council president John Wilhelm was named town contact for the DNR Flood
Plains Administration.
At December’s meeting, it was reported that the annual Christmas gift drive
in town, co-chaired by Tom and Louise Roberts, raised $1,355 and generated

gifts were distributed through the Duneland Exchange Club’s Christmas for
Kids project.
