Trojan Volleyball falls at Michigan City in 3

The Chesterton volleyball team dropped a 25-12, 25-18, 25-13 Duneland Athletic Conference decision at Michigan City on Thursday night.

Offensively, Kristin Stillman led the Trojans with four kills, while Ella Whitmore, Kylie Vendramin and Ginger Hedrick tallied three kills each. Ariel Rohe, Paige Seely and Taylor Bowser had two kills each.

Whitmore dished out a team-best six assists and Olivia Smilgius added five helpers.

Defensively, Stillman led the way with eight digs and Sammy Devereaux added six digs. Whitmore contributed four digs and Maggie Vrahoretis tallied three digs.

At the net, Caroline Parks and Seely had three blocks each with Hedrick recording two blocks.

On the service line, Stillman tallied two aces.

The Trojans return to the court on Saturday when they host the CHS Invitational beginning at 9 a.m.
