Trojan Boys Hoops beat East Chicago Central 56-46

The Chesterton boys basketball improved to 5-0 on the season with a 56-46 victory at East Chicago Central on Tuesday night.

On the road for the first time this season, the Trojans trailed 27-24 at the halftime break, but outscored the Cardinals 19-11 in the third quarter to take control.

Jake Wadding led the Trojan offense with 27 points, while Tyler Nelson added eight points.

Rounding out the scoring were Travis Grayson (7 points), Drew Vanderwoude (5 points), Jack Eaton (4 points), Kolton Cardenas (3 points) and Jake Warren (2 points).

Chesterton returns to the court on Friday when they travel to Highland. The JV game is set for a 5:30 p.m. tip.
