Emily Leckenby, a 2007 CHS graduate, started off the Purdue University home outdoor track season by winning her flight and finishing sixth overall in the hammer throw to lead the Boilermakers in Saturday's Mike Poehlein Invitational Track Meet.

Leckenby is majoring in Industrial Design and will travel to Athens, Georgia, to compete in the Georgia Spec Towns National Invitational on April 10-11 with the Boilermakers.
