Duneland Conference Champions: The
Chesterton girls tennis team finished a perfect 7-0 in Duneland Athletic
Conference play to win its first league title since 2005. Pictured are,

The Chesterton girls tennis team picked up the Duneland Athletic Conference
title with a 5-0 victory over Michigan City on Thursday.
The Trojans swept through singles with victories by Bobbi Modesto (No. 1),
Erin DeVaney (No. 2) and Cassi Moore (No. 3).
In doubles, CHS pulled off two three-set victories. At No. 1, Elizabeth and
Margaret Shinn beat Ashleigh Ellenwood and Lauren Palmer 5-7, 6-0, 6-1,
while Olivia Gordon and Shelbie Sullivan beat Allie Neulieb and Lauren
Holloway 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 at No. 2.
The Trojans ended DAC play a perfect 7-0 and are 14-2 overall.
