The Chesterton girls tennis team put the final touches on a 10-4 regular season with a clean sweep of Wheeler 5-0 Monday afternoon.

In singles, Elizabeth Shinn had no trouble at No. 1 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Katie Dials. Erin DeVaney at No. 2 picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win and Jannon Jeffries followed with a win at No. 3 6-2, 6-3.

In doubles, Cristi Williams and Bharathi Muthusamy won the opening set 6-0 over Kendra Guerrero and Deanna Primos before finishing the match with a 6-3 second set victory.

Amanda Gore and Christine Lambert lost just one game in winning 6-0, 6-1 over Amie Simmons and Jessica Pera at No. 2.

The Trojans open Sectional play on Thursday when they face Boone Grove beginning at 4 p.m. at Portage.

Doubles winners were Lauren Ingram-Stacey Kammerer, Olivia Gordon-Shelbie Sullivan, Sara Torabi-Heather Ribar, Amanda Stolarz-Holly Klawson, Brittny Stephan-Olivia Gordon, Erica Carstens-Lauren Sergent and Cassi Moore-Lexi Misch.

Singles winners included Cassi Moore (No. 1) and Lexi Misch (No. 2).
