CHS golfers win dual meet finale

The Chesterton boys golf team finished its dual meet season with a tri-meet victory over LaPorte and Crown Point at Sand Creek on Tuesday.

The Trojans and LaPorte both shot a 161 team score with Chesterton winning on the fifth score. Crown Point fired a 163 team score.

John Kelley shot 39 to lead the Trojans, while Brandon Martin fired a 40. Evan Zondor and Logan Krantz shot 41 with Zach Von Huben rounding out the scoring with a 42.

The Chesterton junior varsity picked up a pair of victories by beating Crown Point and LaPorte at Sand Creek on Tuesday.

Scott Chemma led the way for the Trojans with a 39. Eric Richardson (44), Michael Zondor (45), Alec Slazas (46) and Kyle Krol (49) rounded out the scoring for CHS.
