CHS Girls golf splits

The Chesterton girls golf team split a Duneland Athletic Conference triangular on Wednesday at the Michigan City Municipal Golf Course.

Michigan City won the meet with a 194-team score, followed by the Trojans (204). Merrillville did not have enough golfers to get a team score.

Katelyn McCoy led the Trojans with a 45, while Peyton Martinson shot 50 and Addison Gentry added a 51. Bethany House (58) and Zoe Swanson (63) rounded out the scoring.

Chesterton returns to the course on Friday when they play in the Pat Ford Invitational at Beechwood. Tee time is 1 p.m.
