The Chesterton boys tennis team fell 3-2 in Duneland Athletic Conference play to Valparaiso on Tuesday afternoon.

"Tough loss for us, but you have to give Valparaiso a ton of credit as they stopped every run we made at them down the stretch,” Chesterton coach Tom Bour said. “There's a lot of positive things we can still pull from this match, we'll bounce back."

The lone winner in singles for Chesterton was Luke Liapes at No. 2 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Spencer Ross.
