CHS boys soccer beats South Bend St. Joe 6-0

The 3rd-ranked Chesterton boys soccer team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 6-0 shutout victory at South Bend St. Joseph on Saturday.

The Trojans have yet to allow a goal this season, having outscored their opponents 26-0.

Zack Bowser led the CHS offense with three goals, while Jacob Perkins added two goals. Liam Grimes also netted a goal in the victory.

Ryan O’Dell dished out four assists and Anthony McCrovitz also added a helper.

Charlie Eaton recorded four saves in posting his fourth shutout of the season.

Chesterton 6, SB St. Joseph 0


Chesterton -- Jacob Perkins 2 goals; Zack Bowser 3 goals; Ryan O’Dell 4 assists; Liam Grimes 1 goal; Anthony McCrovitz 1 assist; Charlie Eaton 4 saves.

SB St. Joseph -- Kyle Tupper 12 saves.

Record: Chesterton 4-0.

Chesterton 3, SB St. Joseph 1

The Chesterton Boys JV Soccer Team improved to 2-0-1 by defeating South Bend St. Joe on Saturday 3-1.

Danny Serianni (2) and John Kovalan scored goals for Chesterton.
