The Chesterton boys soccer team rebounded from last week’s disappointing
Duneland Athletic Conference loss to Valparaiso with a 2-0 victory at Culver
Academy on Monday night.
“We played fairly well under an adverse situation considering the loss to
Valpo last week,” Chesterton coach Jamie Sensibaugh said. “The first half
was a little bit sketchy, but we got together at the half and came away with
the win.”
Austin Haire scored both goals for the Trojans as Ben Molnar and Evan
Coudriet each added an assist. Jacob Garmany recorded nine saves in the
shutout victory.
