CHS Boys Hoops beats Gary Roosevelt 59-54

The Chesterton boys basketball team battled back from a 44-39 deficit to pick up a 59-54 non-conference victory at Gary Roosevelt on Friday night.

Jacob Wasielewski led the Trojans with 19 points and seven rebounds, while Cole Teal added 14 points and Chris Palombizio tallied 10 points.

The Trojans connected on 6-of-18 from 3-point range with Palombizio, Teal and Rusboldt each hitting two triples.

Junior Varsity

Chesterton 36, Gary Roosevelt 30

The Chesterton junior varsity improved to 3-1 on the year with a 36-30 victory Friday night at Gary Roosevelt.

Jordan Dilosa (7 rebounds) and Antwan Beeks (5 rebounds, 2 assists) led the Trojans with 11 points. Ethan Conway (2 steals, 2 assists) and Sam Tilden (3 rebounds) each tallied four points in the win.
