The Chesterton girls swim team kept its perfect regular season going with a
140-46 victory at Valparaiso on Tuesday.
Julia Campbell was a double individual event winner with victories in the
200 IM (2:26.69) and the 100 Free (1:00.92).
Other individual winners included Kate Curley in the 200 Free (2:10.90),
Brittany Boryzch in the 50 Free (28.50), Vanessa Krause in the 100 Fly
(1:03.42), Marita Banta-Long in the 400 Free (4:42.66), Courtney O’Keefe in
the 100 Back (1:11.65) and Mae Bass in the 100 Breast (1:20.95).
The Trojans also swept the Relays with a win in the 200 Medley from O’Keefe,
Borzych, Erin Socha and Krause in 2:09.29.
A win in the 200 Free Relay came from the group of Campbell, Kelly Craig,
Curley and Borzych in 1:51.64, while the quartet of Meagan Curley, Trenee
Fancher-Keller, Marita Banta-Long and Madisyn Coudriet won the 400 Free
Relay in 4:14.20.
