The Chesterton girls swim team had little trouble in picking up an easy
140-45 victory over Portage on Tuesday night.
Double individual winners for the Trojans included Olivia Kabacinski in the
200 Free (2:09.20) and the 100 Fly (1:08.8) and Julia Campbell in the 200 IM
(2:32.67) and the 100 Free (1:02.25).
Other event winners were Maddie Miller in the 50 Free (29.00), Kate Curley
in the 100 Back (1:09.77) and Brittany Borzych in the 100 Breast (1:22.40).
The Trojans also won the 200 Medley Relay with the quartet of Campbell,
Miller, Erin Socha and Curley in 2:10.92.
In the 200 Free Relay, the CHS contingent of Megan Curley, Mae Bass,
Stephanie Krause and Kabacinski won in 1:56.85, while the group of Miller,
Wendy Banta-Long, Kabacinski and Socha won the 400 Free relay in 4:12.72.
