The Chesterton girls golf team improved to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in Duneland Athletic Conference play with a 167-200 victory over Crown Point Tuesday at Sand Creek.

Kelly Grassel led the way for the Trojans with a one-over-par 37 on the Lake Course. Nicole Dutz fired a 41 and Stephanie Drake shot 43. Marissa Kroeger tallied a 46 and Emily DeLache shot 60 to round out the scoring.

Crown Point was led by Alyssa Harvey’s 44.

Chesterton -- Kelly Grassel 37, Marissa Kroeger 46, Stephanie Drake 43, Nicole Dutz 41, Emily DeLache 60.

Crown Point -- Lucia Bracco 48, Alyssa Harvey 44, Kaylie Slosson 60, Christina Hall 55, Zoie Matthews 53.

Records -- Chesterton 3-0 (2-0 DAC), Crown Point 3-1 (0-1 DAC).
