The Chesterton girls basketball team locked up the Highland offense,
allowing just nine field goals, and beat the host Trojans 52-24 on Tuesday
night.
The CHS girls jumped out to a 14-6 lead after one quarter of play thanks in
part to eight points from Lindsay Gorman. The senior finished with 13
points, including 9-of-11 shooting from the foul line.
Caroline Puntillo led the offense with 14 points, while Kelsey Conway had
seven points and Kassidy Scott tallied six points. Sarah Richards had four
points and a team-high five steals.
Hannah McCafferty, Kelly Braun, Jocelyn Lipscomb and Annette Frank all
scored two points in the victory.

Tuesday night.
Jordan Wadding led the Trojan offense with nine points, while Hailee Norton
tallied eight points. McKenzie Sullivan had four points and Mary Mochen
finished with two points.
