The 25th Annual Dunes Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, July 18 at the Brassie Golf Course beginning at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start followed by a dinner and prize ceremony.

Founded by Bailly Principal Mike Grubb, this community tournament started at Forest Park in Valparaiso in the early 1980’s and is now sponsored by the Duneland Education Foundation.

Over the past several years, this tournament has raised several thousand dollars for grants for Duneland area school students. The co-chairmen, John Kroft and Jim Jeselnick, have set up trophies and special prizes for the flight winners, but each contestant will have the opportunity at a Hole in One and win $10,000.

All former champions will be recognized and past flight champions are encouraged to bring their trophies to display in a special area.
