Porter County Sheriff Dave Lain is expected to deliver to the County Commissioners Tuesday the final version of the contract with Correct Care Solutions to be the healthcare provider at the county jail.

Lain has been working with County Attorney Elizabeth Knight on the final details of the contract which has been in development since the start of this year.

The sheriff’s department is seeking through CCS a health services administrator, part-time and full time nurse practitioners, a part-time medical director, and a full-time mental health professional.

The Commissioners will meet at 1 p.m. inside Room 205 of the County Administration Building located at 155 Indiana Ave. in Valparaiso.

Lain will also speak to the Commissioners about a video visitation contract.

Also on the agenda, the board will vote on a resolution to adopt a statewide web-based court case management system.

The Odyssey Case Management system will be available at mycase.in.gov which is a free service, and provides access to court dockets that can be searched and links to other courts around the state.

In other business, the Commissioners will name their appointment to the Porter County Regional Airport Authority.

They will also receive and open bids for the voting equipment storage remodel in the first level of the parking garage attached to the administration center.

Requests from department heads Tuesday include approval of county employee days at the Porter County Fair, a copier purchase and maintenance agreement from IT director Sharon Lippens, and an addendum to a consulting agreement from County Assessor Jon Snyder.

Treasurer Mike Bucko will ask the Commissioners to approve a consulting agreement, a software agreement and an addendum to the support services agreement for this fall’s county tax sale.
