Porter County
Assessor Jon Snyder has announced his candidacy for another four-year term.
Snyder in a
prepared statement said that hes grateful to have had the opportunity to
serve the taxpayers of Porter County during his first term as County
Assessor. Several campaign promises have been kept, he said, including the
elimination of the appeals backlog and the availability of online tax
appeals.
Snyder also said
that hes worked closely with the County Treasurer, Auditor, and other
elected officials to ensure that tax bills have been mailed in a timely
manner.
It would be my goal
in a second term to continue the forward momentum established early on in my
administration, Snyder said.
Snyder will be
running on the Republican ballot in the May 6 primary elections.
