Dairy Project: Stacie Culp, of
Chesterton is pictured with her 2 year old heifer named Eleanor. The
cow/dairy show will take place in the Livestock Arena on Thursday morning at
8 a.m. The Annual 4-H Livestock Celebration Sale will be held Thursday
evening at 6 p.m. in the Livestock Arena. The Porter County Fair continues
through Saturday July 28th.

At the Fair: 4-H members Lilli Tofte-Tourloukis, age 9,
and brother Gianis, age 7, and sister Jeni, age 11, showed their crossbred
blue butt swine at Tuesday morning’s 4-H Market Swine Show. The children’s
parents are Angelo and Charlene of Jackson Township. This year’s Porter
County Fair 4-H Livestock Celebration Sale starts Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
in the Livestock Show Arena.

Visit Sheep and Goats: Gracie Rehtorik, age 5, of
Chesterton is shown petting a sheep owned by longtime 4-H member Jeanne
Bullock of the Duneland area. Gracie will be entering kindergarten at Bailly
Elementary this fall and Gracie’s mom Susan taught 3rd grade to Jeanne at
Bailly a few years ago.

Ready to Go: Justin Duty, age 10, of the Duneland area is
ready and waiting for his competition later in the week with his horse Jake.
The duo will be competing on Wednesday in Western Pleasure and on Friday
morning with speed events such as barrel racing. The Porter County Fair Horse
Arena will be having events each day starting at 10 a.m. Justins parents are
Russ and Dawn.

Grand Champion in Flower Design: 4-Her Amanda Tofte-Patrick,
sophmore at Chesterton High School shows off her Grand Champion fresh flower
potting plant design in the 4-H Exhibit Building at this year’s Porter County
Fair.

Artwork on Display: The Porter County Fair 4-H Exhibit
building has lots of great projects on display by local 4-H members. Adam
Tofte-Patrick, 5th grader at Liberty Intermediate has his pen drawing of his
dog Dottie on display. Adam’s parents are Dennis and Kelly of Jackson
Township.
