State Fair 4H winner to go to Nationals: Elizabeth Jones, 11-years-old, and her Giant Checker rabbits won Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex at Lake County Fair and at the Indiana State Fair. At the State Fair the Checker blacks and blues again won Best of Show, Best of Breed, Best Variety and Best of Opposite Sex of Variety. At the recommendation of state judges, Jones will take the winning rabbits to National 4-H competition in October in Peoria, Ill.
