INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — State officials have set up a website to inform voters
about five Indiana Court of Appeals judges who are up for retention on the
November ballot.
The website includes brief biographies of each judge and links to judicial
opinions for which they served on the deciding panel, along with video of
oral arguments they took part in.
On Nov. 2, Indiana voters will decide whether to retain L. Mark Bailey,
Elaine B. Brown, Cale J. Bradford, Melissa S. May and Margret G. Robb.
Appellate judges are appointed by the governor and are subject to a
retention vote in the first general election after serving two years. After
that, they must appear on the ballot every 10 years.
