Tuesday, Nov. 6, is Election Day, here in Porter County and across the
country.
The polls open at 6 a.m. They close at 6 p.m.
A list of polling places and one of local, statewide, and federal races is
at right.
Early-voting has proved very popular and at times there have been long
lines, at least at the Chesterton town hall, which served this fall as a
satellite voting center.
Voters should remember to bring a photo ID with them.
Note: On Tuesday, only voters registered in the Westchester 8
precinct will cast ballots at the Chesterton town hall. All other voters
must cast their ballots at their regular polling place.
