A Valparaiso man has been indicted on four federal counts of possession of
pseudoephedrine, knowing and having reasonable cause to believe the listed
chemical would be used to manufacture methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s
Office for the Northern District of Indiana said.
Jason Haddock,
30, was taken into custody on that indictment, the U.S. Attorney’s Office
said.
The case is
being investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
In November 2009
Haddock was arrested by the Porter County Drug Task Force on charges of
possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, after
agents investigated an anonymous complaint of possible drug activity at his
residence in Union Township. Both of those charges are Class D felonies
punishable by a term of six months to three years.
