Valparaiso Police say 4th armed robbery by same suspect

A suspect in three armed robberies in Valparaiso is believed to have committed a fourth on Wednesday, of the Save Gas Station at 908 N. Roosevelt Road.

According to Valparaiso Police, at 5:57 p.m. a male subject entered the store, approached the clerk, displayed a semi-automatic handgun, and demanded cash.

“The suspect is believed to be the same individual who has been involved in three previous armed robberies in Valparaiso over the past few weeks,” police said.

The suspect was described as having a dark complexion, being 5’ 8’’ in height and 160 pounds in weight, and wearing a mask and gloves.

In all four robberies the suspect was also wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a diamond or star print on it, with dark colored trousers and white shoes.

The man is suspected of robbing the Valparaiso Quick Trip twice, on Nov. 22 and again on Dec. 2, and Buz’s Liquor Store on Sunday.
