Two hurt after colliding on off road vehicles in Pulaski

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle crash on Monday which seriously injured two Illinois residents, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources said.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:39 p.m. near Medaryville in Pulaski County, when Edgar Padilla, 12, of Chicago, and Samuel Reynoso, 33, of Cicero, each on his own four-wheeler, collided near a blind corner in the pathway.

Reynoso was airlifted to Christ Hospital in Chicago and Padilla to the University of Chicago Hospital, the DNR said. Each sustained blunt trauma injuries to the body. Padilla was expected to be released, while Reynoso underwent surgery for various injuries.
