Set clocks back and change batteries in smoke detectors

Back To Front Page

The Chesterton Fire Department is reminding folks to change the batteries in their smoke detectors this weekend, at the same time they set their clocks back an hour.

Technically, daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday.

Turning back your clock an hour gives you an extra 60 minutes.

Changing the batteries in your smoke detector could save your life.
