The Porter County Sheriff’s Department is reissuing a Request for Proposals
for inmate healthcare in the jail and also at the Juvenile Service Center.
Sheriff David Lain in a press release Thursday said there was a need to
reconfigure the original RFP’s due to an assessment and recommendations by a
consultant from the National Institute of Corrections which was just
completed.
Providers interested in submitting proposals may download a copy of the RFP
from the Department website:

Companies must be legally licensed to operate a health care business in the

meeting on Jan. 22 and they will award a contract at their Feb. 5 meeting.
