The Porter County Sheriff’s Police is investigating the death of a man whose
decomposing body was found on Monday near Hebron as a homicide.
According to police, an autopsy conducted on Tuesday determined that the
man--either white or Hispanic--died of “an apparent gunshot wound.”

three feet of water in a 90-degree elbow turn in a culvert on C.R. 500W,
between C.R. 900S and C.R. 1000S.
Coroner Chuck Harris told the Chesterton Tribune on Tuesday that the
body was found nude and may have been in the culvert “for several months.”
