The Little Caesar’s Pizza at 6321 Central Ave. was robbed on Wednesday, Portage Police said.

According to police, at 9:58 p.m. a male subject--wearing a blue work jacket with an embroidered but undisclosed name on it--entered the business and began inquiring about specialty pizzas. He then asked the shift manager to summon any other employees to the front counter, which she did. When the second employee joined the shift manager, the man demanded “all the money” and gave them 30 seconds to put it in a bag.

As they were gathering the money, the man locked the front door, then ushered the two into a restroom, and--first telling them that they needed to give him 30 seconds or he would return and kill them--he fled out the rear door.

The suspect was described as white male, 6’ 0’’ in height with a thin build and blue eyes, wearing a hat with a mask covering his mouth and chin. Besides the uniform-style work jacket with a name embroidered on it, he was also wearing blue jeans.

Police did not disclose the amount of money stolen in the robbery.

No weapon was displayed and neither of the employees was injured.
