The U.S. Marshal’s Service Great Lakes Task Force has released this week’s
Fugitive of the Week.
He is Vidal Chavarria, 19, a white male, 5’ 6’’ in height and 210 pounds in
weight, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Chavarria is wanted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Police on charges of
battery with a deadly weapon, a Class C felony punishable by a term of two
to eight years; and battery with bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
Chavarria was last known to reside in the 4800 block of Grasselli Street in
East Chicago.
