A semi-tractor trailer loaded with beer rolled on I-65 this morning, the Indiana State Police.

According to police, at 6:45 a.m. Khurshid A. Makhmudov, 31, of Vancouver, Wash., was northbound in the left lane of I-65, approximately three miles south of the Lowell exit, when he drifted off the roadway while adjusting his radio. Makhmudov over-corrected and lost control and his rig entered the grassy median, where it rolled onto the driverís side and slid 200 feet.

The truck was carrying bottles and cans of beer. A portion of the load was lost in the median when the top of the box trailer split open, police said.

Makhmudov--who was cited for unsafe lane movement--was transported to Saint Anthonyís Hospital in Crown Point with a laceration to his forearm, police said.

The left lane was closed this morning for cleanup.
