Armed robbery of Valparaiso T-Mobile

Valparaiso Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the T-Mobile business at 2410 LaPorte Ave. on Sunday at gunpoint.

According to police, at 3:22 p.m. a male subject entered the T-Mobile store, displayed a weapon, and demanded cash and phones from employees. He then fled with an undetermined amount of money and “numerous cellular phones,” police said.

Video surveillance shows the suspect exiting the front passenger’s side of a silver or gray compact ToyotaÑpossibly a CorollaÑprior to the robbery, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male, 6’ 0’’ in height and 150 pounds in weight, wearing a gray wig with fake gray facial hair, a blue shirt, and a baseball cap.
