Harbingers of doom? Bad news travels fast: The Chicago media descended on Chesterton following the Wednesday tornado. The news vans were lined up Thursday afternoon in the parking lot near Chesterton's Town Hall prior to the evening broadcasts. Others were spotted on, or near, Brown Ave. Among the TV stations represented here were channels 2, 5, 7, 9, CLTV and Telemondo. Helicopters were busy overhead, often hovering in place over the tornado's path.
