Cold Stone Creamery robbed at gunpoint

Valparaiso Police are investigating the armed robbery on Thursday of the Cold Stone Creamery at 72 S. Silhavy Road.

According to police, at 8:53 a.m. two male subjects wearing ski masks entered the closed business and demanded cash of the lone employee. One of the suspects reportedly displayed a handgun.

The two then fled the store in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

The employee described one of the suspects as 6 2 in height and the other as 5 9. They were both wearing black coats and blue jeans.

The robbery remains under investigation.
