A Jackson Township woman died early this morning in a one vehicle accident
on U.S. Highway 6 in Jackson Township, the Porter County Sheriff’s Police
said.
The victim was identified as Traci Scott, 33,
According to police, at 1:30 a.m. Scott was eastbound in the 280 block of
U.S. 6, driving a Pontiac G6, when she crossed the center line, left the
roadway to the north, and struck a tree.
Police said that she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation in ongoing, police said.
