Antonette Josephine Tortorello Stadter, born May 25, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois passed peacefully to be with God our Father on April 14, 2009 at the age of 92 in Tucson, Arizona.

She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence John Stadter, cherished mother of Eileen (Stephen) Eager, Maureen Diericks, Sharon Brockway, and Dolores (Bob) Spargur; and fond Grandmother of 13 and Great Grandmother of 20.

She was joyfully reunited with grandsons Kent and Larry and great grandsons Robbie and Anthony.

Antonette was a long time resident of Chesterton, Indiana. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and Westchester Senior Activity Center.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, April 23, 2009, 11 a.m., from St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Road, Chesterton, with Fr. James Meade officiating. Burial to follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 22nd, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S 2nd St., Chesterton. The Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the White-Love Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Antonette’s name to Casa de la Luz Hospice, 5830 N. Fountains Ave., Bldg. #2, Tucson, AZ 85704.
