James “Jim” Jarosak,
age 80 of Burns Harbor, passed away on November 9, 2018 at his home. He was
born on December 22, 1937 in Gary, IN to Joseph and Anna Jarosak, both of
whom preceded him in death.
On May 24, 1958 in
Clinton, IN, he married Constance Bennett Jarosak, who survives in Burns
Harbor.
He is also survived
by his sons: James Jarosak of Elkhart, IN, Michael (Michelle) Jarosak of
Burns Harbor, IN, Patrick (Ying) of Burns Harbor, IN, and Richard Jarosak of
South Haven, IN; his grandchildren: Justin, Tabitha, Corey, Samantha,
Natalie, Nathan, Dylan, Daniel, Tyler, Andrew, and Joseph; and
great-grandchildren: Sage, Carlton, Ryker, and McKenna; and by his siblings:
Ted Jarosak of Portage, IN, Paul (Ray) Jarosak of Dyer, IN, and Joan (John)
of Hobart, IN.
He is also preceded
in death by his son John Jarosak, in 1994, and by his siblings: Joe, Larry,
Tom, and Mary.
Jim proudly served
his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as an Automation
Electrician for Ford in Chicago Heights for many years. He loved using his
metal detector, fishing, wine making, splitting wood, and playing Black
Jack.
Funeral services
will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at 4 p.m., at White-Love Funeral
Home, 525 S. 2nd Street, Chesterton, IN.
The family will
receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
