Marjorie L.
“Knoche” Tabor, age 91 of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on December 17,
2014, in Colorado Springs, Co.
She was born on
July 4, 1923, in Muncie, IN, to Claude and Jeanetta Rodgers-Beckley, both of
whom preceded her in death.
On January 10,
1942, in Crown Point, IN, she married Harry L. Knoche, who passed away on
April 24, 1966.
Marge is survived
by her children: Joan (Thomas) Mores of Colorado Springs, CO, David (Ruth)
Knoche of Colorado Springs, CO, Kenneth Knoche of Colorado Springs, CO,
James Knoche of Colorado Springs, CO and Cheryl (David) Bachman of
Chesterton, IN.
Also surviving are
six grandchildren: Felicia Bachman, Justin Bachman, David P. (Kimberly)
Knoche, Daniel (Morgan) Knoche, Valerie Knoche and Michael Knoche, as well
as five great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law, Myrna Knoche of Fallon,
NV.
Marge is also
preceded in death by her son Larry Knoche in 2013, and her daughter-in-law
Kathleen Knoche in 1991.
Marge was a
Christian woman and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She
loved arts and crafts and reading books.
She was a secretary
at Franklin Life Insurance for many years and then after moving to
Chesterton, she became a secretary at Liberty Bible Church. She was an avid
seamstress she made all the dresses for the servers at Fargo’s Pizza Palace
in Colorado.
Funeral services
were previously held in Colorado Springs. Burial of cremains will be held at
Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, at a later date.
