Wilbur Lawrence Kissinger, age 87, of Caldwell County, Kentucky, died
Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 5:51 p.m. at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Hasse Kissinger, one son, Larry Kissinger,
of Caldwell County, Ky., two daughters, Jacqueline Rucker and husband, Fred,
Caldwell County, Ky., and Glennda Highsmith and husband, David, Zachary,
La., along with four brothers, Clifford Kissinger, Springfield, Ohio, Lloyd
Kissinger, Chesterton, Ind., Daniel Kissinger and Karl Kissinger,
Valparaiso, Ind., two sisters, Marjorie Underwood, Valparaiso, Ind. and
Janey Cernek, Warren, Wis., nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Glenn and Cynthia Jane
Anderson Kissinger, brother, James Kissinger and sister, Irene Weimer.
He was a retired structural iron worker, had worked as a iron worker for 41
years. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a WWII veteran.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral
Home, with Rev. John Benton officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar
Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Morgan's Funeral
Home.
