Karin Rhodes, age 27, of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013.

She was born September 17, 1985 in Angeles City, Philippines, to Lawrence Kinser and Shelia Kinser, both of whom survive.

Karin is also survived by her husband Brian Rhodes; sons, Andrew and Lathon Rhodes; daughter, Lita Rhodes; brother, Kristopher Kinser; father-in-law, Mitch Rhodes; grandfather, Morris Kinser; grandmother, Marilyn Kinser and friend, Duane Easter.

She was preceded in death by mother-in-law Karen Rhodes.

Karin graduated from Chesterton High School. She was a devoted mother who loved her children very much; they were her life.

She was a self-employed hair stylist and make-up artist.

Funeral service will be held Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
