John Franklin Little, of Porter, Ind., passed Saturday, January 19, 2013.

He was born on April 17, 1941 to Fred V. and Mary E. (Price) Little.

In April of 1961 he married Beverly June Hathaway, who also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his five children, Rose Ashby of Las Vegas, Nev., Mary (Gary) Bailey of Apopka, Fla., Sheila (Jim) Strawther of Silby, Tex., Beverly (Ralph) Hotter of Valparaiso, Ind., and John (Jamie) Little of Owensboro, Ky. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers Charles and James, his sister Mille and grandson Virgil Valle.

He worked in National Steel, Midwest Division for seventeen and a half years.

No service or visitation is scheduled. Cremation will take place and he will be buried at Swan Lake Garden in Michigan City, Ind.
